Effective October 1, 2026
Small Business Digital Toolkit LLC (“SBDT,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides business technology, formation assistance, EIN assistance, funding and grant discovery tools, business-credit resources, QR tools, domain resources, flyer distribution, products and related services. This policy explains how information is handled when you use SmallBusinessDigitalToolkit.com.
Information we collect
Depending on the service you use, we may collect contact information, business and owner information, order and transaction details, form submissions, uploaded materials, technical/device information and communications with us. Business formation and EIN services may require additional information needed to prepare or support requested filings.
Sensitive EIN information
If you purchase EIN assistance, the secure EIN intake may collect a responsible party’s SSN or ITIN. SBDT uses technical safeguards designed to protect this information, including encrypted storage. Full SSN/ITIN information is not intended to appear in ordinary administrative views, emails, payment metadata or routine logs. Please do not send an SSN or ITIN through ordinary email or the general contact form.
Payments
Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers. SBDT does not need to store your complete payment-card number when payment information is collected directly by the payment provider. The provider’s own privacy terms also apply.
How we use information
We use information to provide and improve requested services; prepare and manage orders and filings; communicate about your request; process payments; provide support; prevent fraud and security abuse; maintain business records; and comply with applicable legal obligations.
Service providers and third parties
We may share information with service providers when reasonably necessary to operate our website and deliver a service you request, such as hosting, database, payment, email, filing or other technology providers. When you choose an external resource—such as Dun & Bradstreet, a lender, grant source, domain provider or government website—you leave SBDT and that organization’s privacy practices apply.
Business credit, D-U-N-S and funding tools
SBDT is not Dun & Bradstreet, a credit bureau, lender or grant-making agency. D-U-N-S® is a registered trademark of Dun & Bradstreet. Our business-credit, funding and grant tools provide educational information and links to third-party resources; information you submit directly to those third parties is governed by their policies.
Cookies, security and analytics
We may use cookies or similar technologies needed for site functionality, security, sessions and analytics. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, to provide requested services, maintain required records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements and satisfy applicable legal obligations. Sensitive information may be subject to shorter operational retention when it is no longer needed.
Your choices
You may contact us to ask about correcting or deleting personal information we maintain, subject to identity verification and any information we must retain for legal, security, transaction or recordkeeping purposes.
Children
Our business services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly seek personal information from children under 13.
Changes
We may update this policy as our services or legal requirements change. The effective date above identifies the current version.
